The Revista EIA is a scientific publication of the Universidad EIA, open access (Open Access), with a biannual periodicity, whose purpose is the dissemination of science and research findings, above all that of the field of engineering, the technological development and innovation.
The Revista EIA does not charge the authors any fee for submission / submission of manuscripts or fees for the publication of articles.
The Revista EIA provides immediate free access to its content under the principle of making available, free of charge, the research produced by the scientific community with the aim of increasing and publicly disseminating knowledge, and supporting increased global knowledge exchange.
Articles published in the Revista EIA are protected by copyright and may be used for non-commercial purposes. Users can access, download, copy, translate, and extract the required data from the text, images, graphics, and illustrations, as long as the user meets the following requirements:
• Cite the article using a corresponding bibliographic citation. For this purpose, check in the references the highlighted "to cite this article."
• Use the article, its information and graphic elements for non-commercial purposes.
• Maintain the integrity of the article.
• Any translation, for which a prior translation agreement has not been established with the Fondo Editorial EIA, publisher of the Revista EIA, must clearly show the statement: «this is an unofficial translation of an article that appeared in the Revista EIA and the Fondo Editorial EIA has not approved this translation.

In the call for indexing of specialized Colombian scientific journals - Publindex. The REVISTA EIA with printed ISSN: 1794-1237, electronic eISSN: 2463-0950, was classified in category B, until a new measurement.
Interested in submitting to this journal? We recommend that you review the About the Journal page for the journal's section policies, as well as the Author Guidelines. Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply login and begin the step process. Additionally, you must compulsorily include these formats: Letter of Originality, Verification List and the Information of the Authors at the time of sending.
It is mandatory for each of the authors of the manuscript to provide the ORCID link, this is the responsibility of the corresponding author.
Authors of Colombian nationality must be registered in the CvLAC platform of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Republic of Colombia, in order to be linked to Publindex as an author.
