In this project, a study was carried out to determine the market, technical, administrative and financial feasibility of the production and marketing of an isotonic drink made from melon pulp (Cucumis melo L.). Taking into account that the project comprised different studies, the methodology used included four phases in which the objectives set out were pursued in chronological order, applying different types of research (descriptive, correlational, experimental and non-experimental). By means of the integral evaluation of the project it is estimated that the project would yield a Net Present Value (NPV) of $ 878.590.965,61, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 64%, a benefit/cost ratio (B/C) 1,086577831 and a payback time of 1,82 years. This guarantees the profitability of the project and makes it possible to meet the need to transform this fruit in order to give it added value for its commercialisation in an increasingly extensive and dynamic market.
