Los fracasos en la adopción de prácticas para mejorar la competitividad de las empresas generalmente están relacionados con el comportamiento del factor humano; la necesidad de adoptar tales prácticas es vital para las empresas en las condiciones reales de la economía mundial; en consecuencia, la búsqueda de métodos para superar las barreras de adopción constituye una necesidad. Se presentan los resultados de una búsqueda de información sobre la importancia del factor humano en el desempeño de las empresas, se propone una hipótesis para mejorar la efectividad en la adopción de tecnologías en busca de competitividad y se propone un modelo para la construcción de paradigmas apropiados a cada empresa, con el cual se busca demostrar la validez de la hipótesis y dotar a las empresas de una herramienta de planeación y gestión de cambio en la cual el factor humano es pieza central.

Abstract: The failures in adoption of practices to improve the enterprises’ competitiveness are generally related to human factor behaviour; the necessity of adopting such practices is vital for enterprises in the actual conditions of the world’s economy and, consequently, the searching of methods to overcome barriers to adopting them are required.Results of an information search upon the human factor importance on the enterprises performance are shown; a hypothesis to improve the effectiveness on technologies adoption to search competitiveness is proposed and also it is proposed a model to build the proper paradigms for each enterprise which allows to prove the hypothesis validation and give the companies a tool for planning and managing the change, in which human factor is fundamental.
